LiDAR Technology

 

VL uses a fully integrated LiDAR solution featuring a high-performance RIEGL VUX-1LR laser, GPS/GNSS, inertial measurement unit (IMU), and high-resolution 61MP Sony Sony α7R IV digital camera.  The VUX-1LR features 15 mm survey grade accuracy and provides up to 10 returns resulting in pristine digital elevation and terrain models.  Collection is georeferenced using surveyed ground control points for an absolute accuracy of +/- 3 cm and relative accuracy in millimeters.
